» JAMPALING WELL PROJECT

Over the past year, Robert McHugh from Annapolis, Maryland, has been very busy raising money for a fresh-water well and holding tank for the Jampaling Tibetan Refugee Settlement. To date he has raised $18,000 and we are waiting for more pledged monies to arrive. As of last November, the well had been drilled producing water meeting WHO standards. Now, the drilling company is in the process of building the tank to hold this pure drinking water. As many of you know, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to access clean drinking water in much of the world.

» We are happy to announce that one of our 1st sponsored students, Jampa Sangpo, is now Headmaster at Lek Shedh Tsal School in Jampaling!

Thanks to the generosity of so many, he was able to continue his education when his parents could no longer afford it. Jampa Sangpo is now giving back to his own community by helping other Tibetan children continue their education.
